Minister Agnes Nandutu is believed to have gone into hiding after the arrest of Hon. Amos Lugoloobi (State Minister for Planning) in connection with the Karamoja Iron Sheets Scandal.
Lugoloobi was arrested on Friday night. Lugoloobi was arrested right away following the delivery of 300 iron sheets to the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) stores in Namanve.
On Thursday, the Directorate of Public Prosecution – DPP approved the files of five suspects, including the minister who is also the Ntejeru North MP for the Kayunga district.
He is being held at the Kira Division Police station until Monday when he is scheduled to appear in court.
